About Pilates
Pilates is a Mind Body workout that strengthens the muscles that support the spine. It brings balance to the body through finely tuned movements that help to realign the spine in order to decrease tension, increase flexibility, and strengthen the body from the inside out.
Our members enjoy Pilates Training in three forms: the Mat, the Reformer, and the Cadillac. Mat work is performed on the floor with a mat and uses your own body weight as resistance through a series of movements. The Reformer utilizes your body weight along with added resistance through springs and pulleys. The Cadillac is an additional compliment to the Reformer, and provides a variety of movements that also includes the use of springs for added resistance.
